Packaging technologies

The center offers the possibility of packaging the most diverse types of food products in vacuum conditions, in air or modified atmosphere and to study their shelf-life.

Various packaging machines are available both in bags and trays of various sizes and materials. Among the packaging machines there is also an innovative SKIN packaging machine.

A modern gas mixing system (nitrogen, carbon dioxide and oxygen) guarantees the formulation of the desired atmospheres in the packages, checked and monitored with suitable ad hoc sensors.
