Chemical analysis of food

The chemical analysis laboratories of the center are equipped for the analysis of the proximal composition of food matrices and more (drinks, water, feed, land, etc.).

There are tools for the determination of ammonia, protein, nitric (after reduction) nitrogen and other substances, for the extraction of lipids from a solid matrix, for the electrophoretic analysis of proteins.
In addition, the staff can count on an FT-NIR spectrometer for rapid multiparameter analysis of samples of different nature, without the use of chemicals, which offers reliable results in applications in the field of research and development, in quality control and in many others. sectors.
